International Students Athletic Performance during 2023 CTGU Sports Festival and the 22nd Athletics Games
The 2023 China Three Gorges University Sports Festival and the 22nd Athletics Games were held from October 25th to 27th at the Central Stadium, and including international students, more than 1000 students participated in the sports meet. This is the first time for international students to take part in such an event.
Our international students have demonstrated their talents in 100M, 200M, 400M, 800M, 1500M, Long-Jump, Shot-Put, and 4*400M Relay Races while competing with the Chinese students.
One student named Gabriel has secured 2nd Position in the 200M race and 7th Position in the 100M race. He was competing with 51 students in the 100M race and 47 students in the 200M race.

Other athletes also showcased mind-blowing performances in the competitions. We have also secured 4th position in the long jump by a student named Aswin, who has jumped 5.59M.
Students have displayed exceptional performance in the 4*400M relay too. All the movements were relished by the international students and they participated with a remarkable sportsman spirit.
On the eve of 27th October, the 2023 China Three Gorges University Sports Festival and the 22nd Athletics Games came to an end with lots and lots of fun and joy. Additionally, more and more international students have shown interest in the successive sports meet.
