At 2: 00 pm on January 3, 2021, the final of the first knowledge quiz for international students of CTGU was successfully held in Quyuan lecture hall. Four teams entering the final stage competed for the "strongest brain" of international students. The finals attracted international student counselors and international students from various colleges to watch.

This competition adopts a two-in-one elimination system and a time-limited response system.Each competition is divided into four individual items: "General Chinese", "CurrentIssues", "Science " and "Mathematics "knowledge Competition.During the competition, the students competed inthose four parts, and their rich knowledge reserve won the unanimous praise of the judges and the audience.

In the end, the team "Genis" won the championship, the team "All Together" won the runner-up, the team "JEDES" won the third place and the team "P.B.Span" won the most popular team.

The competition also selected four single best players, which were won by DIANA M GARKPEH, an international studentfromCollege of Biological & Pharmaceutical Sciences, FRANCIS AKOTUAH OSAE and A S M MAHAMUDUL HASAN,twointernational students fromCollege ofElectrical engineering & New Power.

Organized by the International Student Association (ISA), thequizcompetition attracted 16 teams from various colleges under the guidance and support of the College of International Communications. Through the preliminaries and the second round in the past half a month, the players fully demonstrated themselves.

The competition is one of a series of cultural activities for international students in our university during the 2021 winter vacation. It aims to stimulate their interest in the studying of their professional knowledge, Chinese and Chinese culture as well as enrich their campus cultural life.
