Brief Introduction

Chinese Government Scholarship-Silk Road Program is a full scholarship established by Ministry of Education to support Chinese universities to attract outstanding international students from Belt &Road Countries and Regions for studying in China. China Three Gorges University (CTGU) is one of the prestigious universities designated to undertake this program to recruit students for studying the Bachelor Program of Civil Engineering.

项目简介：

中国政府奖学金—丝绸之路项目是由中华人民共和国教育部统筹规划，用于支持中国高校，吸引“一带一路”沿线国家和地区的优秀学子来华学习深造的全额奖学金项目。三峡大学作为承接此项目的地方高校之一，现向相应国家和地区招收一批攻读土木工程专业本科学士学位项目的学生。

Scholarship Coverage and Criteria

1. Tuition waiver

2. Free accommodation. (Personal expenses such as water, electricity, internet, TV signal, and damage compensation are excluded)

3. Comprehensive medical insurance

4. Registration fee

5. Monthly living allowance: 2500RMB (This will be issued according to the actual months the student’s stay in CTGU. In circumstances that the student is in CTGU for less than a full month, for instance, in the beginning or the end of the semester, half of the amount will be issued if the student stays in CTGU for less than 15 days of the month; full amount will be issued if the student is in CTGU for more than 15 days of the month.

6. International travel expenses: Self-afforded

奖学金资助范围及标准：

1.学费减免

2.住宿费减免（水费、电费、网费、电视费和公共物品损害赔偿费等日常生活中产生的个人费用除外）

3.医疗保险费减免

4.注册费减免

5.每月生活津贴：2500元（每月具体金额以学生当月在校的实际天数决定。例如，在每学期开始或结束的月份，如果学生实际在校天数少于等于十五天，则当月将发放一半的津贴；多于十五天，则当月将发放全额津贴。）

6.国际国内旅行交通费用需学生本人自行承担。

Supporting Categories, Duration & Instruction Language

1. Supporting Category. This scholarship only supports undergraduate students (including only one major: Civil Engineering)

2. Duration. Four years for degree program study in CTGU. One year for foundation courses if necessary. The scholarship covers both of the major study and preparatory study, as specified in the Admission Letter.

3. Instruction Language. Scholarship students can register for Chinese-taught program

资助专业、资助期限及授课语言：

1.资助专业：该奖学金只资助攻读土木工程专业本科学士学位的学生；

2.资助期限：四年专业学习和一年预科学习（如需）。奖学金将覆盖专业课程学习和预科课程学习的所有学年，详情请参照学生本人的录取通知书。

3.授课语言：中文授课。

Eligibility of Applicants

1. 18-25 years old; foreign passport holders of Belt &Road Countries and Regions; please visit: https://www.yidaiyilu.gov.cn/xwzx/roll/77298.htm for the country list.

2. Chinese Friendly; good physical and mental health; hardworking; academically excellent;

3. High School graduate with Excellent Results;

4. Minimum Qualification: HSK3 certificate or above, good Chinese language skills at listening, speaking, reading writing;

5. Applicants without HSK 4 certificate or whose Chinese language is not good, should take one year Foundation course in designated University before entering degree program in China Three Gorges University. The scholarship covers one year Foundation course too.

申请条件：

1.年龄为18-25周岁的“一带一路”国家和地区的外国护照持有者（在该网站可查询到“一带一路”共建国家名单：https://www.yidaiyilu.gov.cn/xwzx/roll/77298.htm）

2.对华友好、身心健康、勤奋努力、成绩优异的学生；

3.成绩优秀的高中毕业生；

4.中文水平要求：达到HSK-3级及以上，拥有良好的中文听、说、读、写语言技能；

5.对于没有通过HSK-4级或中文不是很好的学生，在进入三峡大学学习专业课程之前，需进入指定预科院校学习一年的基础预科课程，奖学金覆盖预科阶段的学习。

Application Procedure

1. Register and submit your online application at the CSC Online Application System for International Students at http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login. The code of China Three Gorges University is 11075. Please Choose Program category Type B which refers to scholarship programs responsible by Chinese universities under Chinese Government Scholarship.

2. Register and submit your online application at China Three Gorges University Online Application System for International Students at http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn, please choose the Chinese Government Scholarship Program and fill your application.

申请步骤：

1.在中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统注册并在线提交申请：http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login；三峡大学学校代码为11075；奖学金类别请选择B类项目；

2. 在三峡大学国际学生在线服务系统注册并提交您的在线申请：http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn；在申请时请选择中国政府奖学金项目；

Application Documents:

1. Scanned copy of valid ordinary passport (personal information page).

2. Notarized highest diploma or degree certificate issued directly by school or university with official stamp and signature;

Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

3. Academic transcripts; Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

4. A Study Plan within 200 words (written in Chinese or English);

5. Two Recommendation Letters (written in Chinese or English);

6. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (photocopy) It must be written in English and can be downloaded from http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina or http://www.campuschina.org

The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months.

7. Non-Criminal Record Certificate issued by Public Security Authorities.

8. The copy of valid HSK Certificate.

Note: It’s unnecessary to send us hard copies of the above application documents until we inform the applicants who passed the preliminary evaluation and send you the pre-admission letter.

申请材料：

1.在有效期内的普通护照个人信息页的扫描件；

2.由学校或大学直接发放的带公章和签名的经公证的最高毕业证书或学位证书；即将取得文凭证书的申请人必须提交由您当前学校签发的正式文件，以证明您当前的学生身份或预期毕业日期。非中文或英文的文件必须附上经过公证的中文或英文翻译件；

3.学业成绩单；非中文或英文的成绩单必须附上经过公证的中文或英文翻译件；

4. 200词以内的中文或英文学习计划书；

5.两封中文或英文推荐信；

6.外国人体格检查表的扫描件。该表格可在此网站下载，且必须用英文书写：http://www.csc.edu.cn/studyinchina 或 http://www.campuschina.org. 申请人必须完成体检表中的所有体检项目。不完整的、没有主治医生签名的、没有医院公章的或申请人照片上未盖骑缝章的体检表是无效的。体检表的有效期限为六个月，所以请合理安排您的体检时间。

7.由公安机关发放的无犯罪证明；

8.有效的HSK证书复印件。

注意：申请人无需邮寄以上申请材料的纸质文档；

Scholarship Confirmation

1. University reviews the application documents and decides the nominated candidates.

2. The CSC reviews eligibility and qualifications of nominated candidates

3. Scholarship recipients are not permitted to change their host university, field of study, or duration of study stipulated on the Admission Letter after their coming to China.

4. Scholarship will not be reserved if scholarship recipient cannot register before the registration deadline.

5. Scholarship recipients shall receive evaluation annually. The evaluation result will decide whether he/she can continue receiving the scholarship or not.

奖学金确认：

1.三峡大学负责审核申请材料，确定推荐人选；

2.中国国家留学基金委负责审核申请人的资质，确定最终奖学金人选；

3.奖学金生来华后不得变更录取院校、学习专业及学习期限；
4.不能按注册期限如期来校注册报到的奖学金生，奖学金资格不予保留；

5.奖学金生每年需参加年度评审，评审结果将直接决定下一年度是否能够继续享受中国政府奖学金资助。
