2019 CTGU Application for Bachelor’s Programs

 

Eligibility:
1. 18-25 years old; non-Chinese; a foreign passport holder;
2. Chinese Friendly; in good physical and mental health; hardworking; academically excellent;
3. High School Certificate in relevant discipline;
4. Applicants who apply for the Chinese –taught program shall pass HSK 4. For English –taught programs, the applicants shall pass the Paper Test of TOEFL with 500 or above, Computer Test of TOEFL with 80 or above, IELTS with 5.0 or above or other equivalent English language proficiency level.  Applicants who are from English speaking countries can exempt from providing the relevant English language proficiency certificates. Procedure of Application:

 

1. If you apply for the CSC scholarship program. Register and submit your online application at the CSC Online Application System for International Students at http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login. The code of China Three Gorges University is 11075. Please Choose Program category type B which refers to scholarship programs responsible by Chinese universities under Chinese Government Scholarship.  Please download and print a hard copy of the “Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship” after you complete the form.  

 

 

2. Register and submit your online application at China Three Gorges University Online Application System for International Students at  http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn, submit online the completed “Application Form for International students of China Three Gorges University” and required application documents listed below:

 

Application Documents:
1. Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship of CSC system if applicable (written in Chinese or English);  

 

Completed Application Form for International Student of CTGU system (written in Chinese or English);    

 

2. Passport copy (Photo Page of a valid passport)
3. Copies of the visa page and residence permit if the applicant is in China
4. Notarized Highest Diploma or Degree Certificate with official stamp and signature (A Notarized Copy in English or Chinese language should be attached if the originals are not in English or Chinese)    

 

5. Highest Academic Transcript (A Notarized Copy in English or Chinese language should be attached if the originals are not in English or Chinese)  

 

6. Certificate of Physical Examination  

 

7. Non-Criminal Record Certificate
8. Other documents required by the relevant departments, such as a language certificate, etc.

1	Hydraulic and  Water Resources Engineering	15,000RMB/Year	CTGU Scholarship： The first year tuition fee will be covered by the CTGU Scholarship. From the  2nd year students are required to be attentive to their study and obey the  rules & regulations of CTGU for continuing applying for a scholarship. If  any kinds of disciplinary violation or failure in any academic courses  conducted by the student, the scholarship application will be cancelled. 4	Mechanical  Design, Manufacturing & Automation	10,000RMB/Year	Hubei Provincial Scholarship：The first year tuition fee will be covered by the Hubei Provincial  Scholarship. From the second year, students shall apply for this scholarship  from university first. Students can continue winning this scholarship if the application were approved by  the Hubei Government. If any kinds of disciplinary violation or failure in  any academic courses conducted by the student, the scholarship application  will be cancelled.
5	Metal  Materials Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Materials)

8	Public  Administration
9	Pharmacy	15,000RMB/Year	Hubei Provincial Scholarship：10000RMB of the first year tuition  fee will be covered by the Hubei Provincial Scholarship. From the second  year, students shall apply for this Partial  Tuition scholarship from university first.  Students can continue winning  this scholarship if the application were approved by the Hubei Government. If  any kinds of disciplinary violation or failure in any academic courses  conducted by the student, the scholarship application will be cancelled.
