As we stroll to approach the 2021 graduation ceremony, there have been sessions of career guidance organized for international students which is geared towards aiding students in acquiring basic knowledge in employment policies, enhancing job hunting skills and competitiveness in the workplaces. The university invited excellent alumni as speakers for each session. The third session was successfully held online and offline simultaneously on 15th April, 2021.
In the third session of the webinar, Dr. OLYMPAK CHATTERJEE 2012 batch and Dr.Smita Singh 2014 batch served as the third speaker of the career guidance webinar. The lecture was conducted simultaneously online and offline.
Dr.Olympak Chatterjee lives in India. He entered CTGU in 2012 and graduated in 2018. During his studies, he won scholarship for five times and excellently passed HSK 5. He is currently working as a doctor in Balurghat district hospital precisely in the corona department.
Dr,Smita Sing, 2014 batch is also from India. Now she is doing internship in her country. She shared her experience of MBBS life and the internship life. She encouraged students to study hard to make good results.
The webinar also hosted special guest, Mr. David from the College of Medical Science to speak on how to plan the career for international students from the majors by sharing his own experience and put forward valuable suggestions for their growth.
The career guidance webinar 2021 for international students’ is sponsored by the College of International Communications undertaken by the International Students Association (ISA).International students have expressed delightfully the benefits they have had from each session of the webinar. Through the webinar, most international students expressed their views having a better understanding of employment policies, and also have a clearer understanding of graduation employment procedures, and application about the postgraduate studies and have more confidence in their own employment.
