WHO WE ARE

三峡大学坐落于湖北省域副中心城市、水电之都宜昌，是经国家教育部批准，由原武汉水利电力大学（宜昌）和原湖北三峡学院于2000年6月29日合并组建而成。学校办学历史最早可以追溯至1923年，1978年开始举办本科教育，1996年开始举办硕士研究生教育。学校具有博士学位授予权，具有招收中国政府奖学金生（CSC）、本科临床医学专业（英语授课）来华留学生资格以及招收香港、澳门、台湾地区学生资格。

学校长期坚持开放办学方针，广泛开展国际交流与合作。学校是“联合国学术影响力”(UNAI)组织成员,“世界高校联盟”（N.E.W.S.）组织常设秘书处单位，目前已与60多个国家和地区的170余所高校建立了长期稳定的合作关系，学校是湖北省省属高校中招收留学生人数和英语授课规模最大的高校，现有在校来华留学生1500余人。

China Three Gorges University (CTGU) is located in Yichang city, Hubei Province, China. Having been approved by the Ministry of Education of China, CTGU comprises the former Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering/Yichang and the former Hubei Sanxia College. The history of CTGU can be traced back to 1923, while the undergraduate and postgraduate education started from 1978 and 1996 respectively. CTGU has the qualification to confer the doctor’s degree, to accept international students under Chinese government scholarship from China Scholarship Council (CSC), and to accept international students into undergraduate English medium program of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and to accept Chinese students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries in the world.

CTGU, adhering to the principle of promoting development through opening up, organizes wide range of international cooperation and communication. It is the member of United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and the Standing Secretariat of Global University Network (N.E.W.S.). CTGU has established cooperative relationships with more than 170 universities from more than 60 countries. CTGU, with 1500 international students currently, is a major destination in Hubei Province for international students and provides the largest scale of English medium education activities.

国家留学基金管理委员会（简称CSC）受中华人民共和国教育部（简称MOE）委托，负责中国政府奖学金项目的招生和管理工作。三峡大学作为授权招收CSC全额奖学金学生的高校之一，欢迎所有国际学生来申请这些项目。

China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China （hereinafter referred to as MOE）, is responsible for the enrollment and the administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs. China Three Gorges University is one of the authorized universities to accept the CSC full scholarship students. We welcome all the international students to participate in these programs.

三峡大学学校奖学金项目 CTGU College Scholarship Programs

项目简介：为吸引更多的国际学生到三峡大学学习，学校给部分专业提供学校奖学金，该奖学金只覆盖第一学年的全额学费或部分学费，其他费用由学生按学校收费标准自己承担。从第二学年起，有关学院将根据学生的综合排名，为优秀学生提供部分奖学金。凡有考试不合格或违纪违法者，取消下一年度奖学金申请评定资格。

2023-2024学年包含学校奖学金的专业有：

1. 水利水电工程专业本科生

2. 电气工程及其自动化专业本科生/自动化专业本科生（第二学年开始需参加评审。评审办法见：http://ee.ctgu.edu.cn/detail/6099）

注意：除上述两所学院外，自第二学年开始其他学院也可能为优秀学生提供一些奖学金。具体信息请咨询相关学院。

Program Introduction:

To attract more international students to study in China Three Gorges University, the university provide scholarship that only covers full tuition fee or partial tuition fee for the first year; other regular fees shall be paid by students according to the university fees structure. From the second year, the relevant colleges will offer some scholarships to excellent students according to their comprehensive ranking among all students. Any failure in examination or violation of regulations or law will lead to cancellation of scholarship application of next year.

申请条件 Eligibility

申请人需要满足以下条件：

To be eligible, an applicant must:

1.非中国籍公民，对华友好，身心健康；注：对移民外国后作为外国留学生来华学习者，申请人应持有效的外国护照或国籍证明文件4年（含）以上，且最近4年（截至入学年度的4月30日前）之内有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录（一年中实际在国外居住满9个月可按一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）；

2. 申请攻读学士学位者，应当具有高中或同等学历，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般为18-25周岁；

3. 申请攻读硕士学位者，应当具有相关专业学士学位或同等学历，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般为18-30周岁；

4. 申请攻读博士学位者，应当具有相关专业硕士学位或同等学历，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般为18-35周岁；

5. 申请普通进修生项目，应当具有相当于高中及以上学历，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般为18-40周岁；

6.申请中文授课项目要求达到《汉语水平考试》四级（HSK4）（普通进修生项目除外），毕业时中文能力应达到《国际汉语能力标准》五级水平（曾使用中文为教学语言获得中国高校学位的，无须提供《汉语水平考试》（HSK）证明）；

7. 申请英文授课项目的非英语国家申请者要求提供雅思成绩5.0分及以上或等同于此水平的相关证明，申请人来自英语国家或接受过3年及以上英文教学课程可免提供英语水平证明。毕业时中文能力应当至少达到《国际汉语能力标准》三级水平。英语国家可参考链接：http://eng.ctgu.edu.cn/info/1032/1465.htm

1. be a citizen of a country other than the PRC, friendly to China and in good health both mentally and physically; Note: For those Chinese people who immigrated to other countries as foreign students to apply for studying in China, the applicants should hold the valid foreign passport or nationality certificate more than 4 years. In the latest 4 years (up to April 30 of the enrollment year), the applicants lived in a foreign country more than 2 years (the actual living abroad for more than 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, subject to the entry and exit stamps).

2. be an academically excellent holder of a Higher Secondary Certificate or its equivalent between the age of 18 and 25 when applying for a Bachelor’s program;

3. be an academically excellent holder of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or its equivalent between the age of 18 and 30 when applying for a Master’s program;

4. be an academically excellent holder of a Master’s degree in relevant discipline or its equivalent between the age of 18 and 35 when applying for a doctoral program;

5. be an academically excellent holder of a Higher Secondary Certificate or above between the age of 18 and 40 when applying for general visiting program;

6. have passed HSK (Level 4) when applying for a Chinese-taught program（General Visiting Program is excluded） and their Chinese proficiency should be at the level of the International Chinese Language Proficiency Standard (Level 5) upon graduation (those who have obtained a degree from a Chinese university using Chinese as the teaching language are not required to provide HSK certificates;

7. provide an IELTS certificate with 5.0 or above or other equivalent language proficiency certificate when applying for an English-taught program. Applicants who are from English speaking countries or received education more than 3 years in English can exempt from providing the relevant English language proficiency certificates. Their Chinese proficiency should be at the level of the International Chinese Language Proficiency Standard (Level 3) upon graduation

Register and submit your application at China Three Gorges University Online Application System for International Students at http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn, submit the completed “Application Form for International students of China Three Gorges University” and required application documents listed below online:

If you apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship or International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship(ICLTS), you need to submit your application at relevant system accordingly.

申请材料：

3. 最高学历证明原件及公证件。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明。

4. 最高学历学习成绩单。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文

5. 语言能力证明。申请以中文为专业教学语言的申请人须提供有效期内且与相应中文水平要求相符的HSK成绩报告。申请以外语为专业教学语言的申请人应根据学校要求提供相应的语言能力证明，如雅思或托福成绩单

6. 来华学习或研究计划（申请研究生专业提供）。不少于1000字，用中文或英文书写

7. 推荐信（申请研究生专业提供）。须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写

8. 个人学术成果（毕业论文、公开发表的论文、参与的重大科研项目等列表）

9. 个人获奖证明（如有）

10. 《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。检查结果有效期为6个月

11. 无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件。

注意：提交至三峡大学国际学生在线服务系统的材料需在1M大小以内且为JPG 、JPEG 或 PNG格式。

1. CTGU or CSC or ICLTS Application Form for International Students (filled in online).

2. A scanned copy of the Passport Information Page.

3. Diploma and certificate of highest education (both original &notarized photocopy). An applicant who is a current university student shall submit the certificate of expected graduation or student status issued by his/her university.

4. Academic transcripts the final degree. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

5. Certificate of language proficiency. When applying for a Chinese-taught program, an applicant shall provide a valid HSK score report that meets the program’s language ability requirements. When applying for a program taught in a language other than Chinese, an applicant shall provide a certificate of proficiency in the language as required by the designated university, such as the IELTS or TOEFL test report.

6. A study or research plan written in Chinese or in English (no less than 1000 words/characters for postgraduates) when applying for the postgraduate programs.

7. Recommendation letters. Two recommendation letters in Chinese or in English from professors or associate professors when applying for the postgraduate programs.

8. Personal academic achievements if there is/are (list of graduation thesis, published papers, major research projects participated, etc.).

9. Awarded certificates if there is/are.

10. A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (the original document, printed by Chinese quarantine authorities, shall be filled in in English and kept by the applicant). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Medical examination results are valid for only six months.

11. An applicant shall submit a valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record (or Police Clearance Certificate) issued by the local public security (such as the police station), usually issued within six months prior to the submission date of the application.

Attention:    

The online application for CTGU platform requires JPG or JPEG or PNG uploads of all the documents within 1 M.  

费用标准FEES

来三峡大学学习，你需要承担以下的费用：

1.1 学费：请参见不同专业的学费标准

1.2 住宿费：双人间，4800元/年/床位

1.3 保险费：800元/年/人

1.4 注册费： 400元/人

1.5 生活费：约1500元/月/人

1.6 其他费用：大约1500元，如体检费/认证费、居留证申请费等，这些费用将由相关机构按照其收费标准收取。

Study at CTGU, you are expected to bear the Expenses as below:

1.1 Tuition fee: please refer to the different programs.

1.2 Accommodation fee: 4800 RMB /year/bed for a room with two beds.

1.3 Insurance fee: 800 RMB /year/person.

1.4 Registration fee: 400 RMB /person.

1.5 Living expenses average around 1500 RMB /month/ person.

1.6 Other prospective expenses around 1500 RMB such as Health Check/Authentication fee or Residence Permit Application Fee will be charged by the relevant institutions in accordance with their fee specification.
