为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求，促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分汉语考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到中国大学（以下简称接收院校）学习和进修国际中文教育及相关专业。
To meet the growing international demand for Chinese language teachers, facilitate Chinese language education around the world, and support the professional development of Chinese language teachers, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) has established the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship(hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) for eligible Chinese language teachers outside of China. Confucius Institutes, independent Confucius Classrooms, selected HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese language teacher training programs/Chinese departments at foreign universities , professional associations for Chinese language teaching, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as Recommending Institutions) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to further their studies in international Chinese language education and related programs at Chinese universities (hereinafter referred to as Host Institutions).
三峡大学位于湖北省宜昌市，是国家水利部和湖北省人民政府共建大学。学校现有来华留学生1500余人，分别来自70余个国家，是国家来华留学示范基地建设单位。作为国内优秀的国际中文教师奖学金接受院校之一，学校可接受国际中文教育专业硕士研究生、国际中文教育专业本科生、（一学年、一学期、四周）研修生奖学金的申请。欢迎全球的中文学习者来我校学习、深造。
China Three Gorges University (CTGU) locates in the Yichang city of Hubei Province. It’s established by the Ministry of Water Resources and Hubei Government. Now CTGU has overall 1500 international students from more than 70 countries. As one of the excellent recommending institutions for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship, CTGU is open to accept applications for scholarships for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education, Bachelor’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education, One-Academic-Year Study, One-Semester Study, Four-Week Study. Welcome Chinese language learners all over the world to pursue studies on our campus.
一、资助对象
Ⅰ、ELIGIBILITY
1.非中国籍人士;
2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、 法规和学校的规章制度；
3.身心健康，品学兼优;
4.有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作;
5.年龄为16-35周岁（统一以2023年9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至45周岁，本科奖学金申请者一般不超过25周岁。
All applicants shall be:
a) Be a non-Chinese citizen;
b) Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution;
c) Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;
d) Be interested in Chinese language education and related work; and
e) Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2023. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45, but those who apply for a scholarship for a Bachelor’s degree shall be younger than 25 under most circumstances.
二、奖学金类别及申请条件
Ⅱ、CATEGORIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
第一类：中文师资类项目
A. Chinese Language Teacher Scholarships
1.国际中文教育专业硕士研究生
2023年9月入学，资助期限为2年。
具有大学本科学历。汉语考试成绩达到HSK（五级）210分、且HSKK（中级）60分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
a). Scholarship for Master’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
The program commences in September 2023, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of two academic years.
Applicants shall hold a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 5) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level). Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect.
2．国际中文教育专业本科生
2023年9月入学，资助期限为4年。
具有高中学历。汉语考试成绩达到HSK（四级）210分、HSKK（中级）60分。
b). Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree in International Chinese Language Education
The program commences in September 2023, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of four academic years.
Applicants shall hold a senior high school diploma and have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).
3．一学年研修生
2023年9月入学，资助期限为11个月。不录取享受过同类奖学金的申请。
国际中文教育方向，汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）270分，且具有HSKK成绩；汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学等方向，汉语考试成绩达到HSK（四级）180分、且HSKK（中级）60分；汉语研修方向，汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）210分，提供HSKK成绩者优先。
C). Scholarship for One-Year Study Program
The program commences in September 2023, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of eleven months. International students who have benefited from similar scholarships are not eligible.
Applicants of international Chinese language education programs shall have a minimum score of 270 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required. Applicants of Chinese language and literature, Chinese history, or Chinese philosophy programs shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 4) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level). Applicants of Chinese language study programs shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK test (Level 3), and priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.
4．一学期研修生
2023年9月、2024年3月入学，资助期限为5个月。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。国际中文教育、汉语言文学、中国历史、中国哲学等方向，汉语考试成绩达到HSK（三级）180分，具有HSKK成绩；中医、太极文化方向，具有HSK成绩，同时提供HSKK成绩者优先。
d). Scholarship for One-Semester Study Program
The program commences either in September 2023 or March 2024, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of five months. Applicants holding the X1/X2 visa category are not eligible. Applicants of international Chinese language education, Chinese language and literature, Chinese history, or Chinese philosophy programs shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required. Applicants of traditional Chinese medicine or Taiji culture programs are required to provide HSK test scores, and priority will be given to those who also provide an HSKK test score.
5．四周研修生
2023年7月或12月入学，资助期限为4周。不录取护照上有X1、X2签证者。
汉语研修、中医、太极文化、汉语言+中国家庭体验等方向，具有HSK成绩。可由推荐机构组团进行报名，并事先联系接收院校确定在华学习计划，提前报中心审批，每团10-15人。
e). Scholarship for Four-Week Study Program
The program commences either in July or December 2023, and the scholarship is provided for a maximum of four weeks. Applicants holding the X1/X2 visa category are not eligible.
Applicants of Chinese language study, traditional Chinese medicine, Taiji culture, or Chinese language plus homestay with a Chinese family program are required to provide an HSK test score. The program may be organized and applied for by a Recommending Institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with the Host Institution(s) and such plan shall be submitted to CLEC for review and approval.
第二类：奖学金线上项目
B. Scholarships for Online Programs
1. 一学年汉语研修线上项目：每年 9 月或 3 月入学。一
般汉语水平考试成绩需达到 HSK（三级）180 分，提供 HSKK 成绩者优先。
a) The Online Program for One-Year Chinese Language Study commences in September or March each year. Under most circumstances, a score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3) is required, and priority will be given to those who also provide an HSKK test score.
2. 一学期汉语研修线上项目：每年 9 月或 3 月入学。一
般需具有汉语水平考试（HSK）成绩（对级别和成绩不作具
体要求）。
b) The Online Program for One-Semester Chinese Language Study commences in September or March each year. Under most circumstances, an HSK test score (regardless of level or score) is required.
3.专项线上研修项目：具体申请条件和申请办法，请咨
询三峡大学留学生招生办公室。
c) Please consult the Admission Office of CTGU for the eligibility and application for Special Online Study Programs.
三、办理流程
2023年3月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教师奖学金板块，查询推荐机构，在接受院校一栏选择三峡大学, 提交申请材料，关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果；同时还需登录三峡大学国际学生管理服务平台：http：//lsx.ctgu.edu.cn, 选择国际中文教师奖学金项目，在线提交申请材料，并与三峡大学留学生招生办公室保持联系，了解申请进度。奖学金获得者与三峡大学确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书；按录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。
截止日期（以北京时间为准）：
1．7月入学：学生申请截止日期为4月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为4月25日;
2．9月入学：学生申请截止日期为5月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为5月25日；
3．12月入学：学生申请截止日期为9月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为9月25日；
4．2024年3月入学：学生申请截止日期为11月15日，推荐机构、接收院校审核截止日期为11月25日。
中心委托专家组集中评审：根据 HSK、HSKK 考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前约 3 个月完成奖学金评审工作，公布评审结果。
Ⅲ、APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Online registration will be available from March 1, 2023 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship application website (http://www.chinese.cn). Please log on to search for recommending institutions and choose China Three Gorges University as host institutions; upload application materials online; and track the application progress, comments and result. Meanwhile, please log on the CTGU International Students’ Platform http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn and choose the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship program, submit application documents online. Applicants need to keep in touch with the admission office of CTGU for the application process. Scholarship holders need to confirm with CTGU to go through the procedures of studying in China, print out the scholarship certificate online at http://www.chinese.cn, and register on the designated date as per the letter of admission.
The application deadlines (Beijing Time) are:
a) For programs commencing in July, student application must complete before April 15th; recommending institutions and host institutions must complete review before April 25th;
b) For programs commencing in September, student application must complete before May 15th; recommending institutions and host institutions must complete review before May 25th;
c) For programs commencing in December, student application must complete before September 15th; recommending institutions and host institutions must complete review before September 25th;
d) For programs commencing in March 2024, student application must complete before November 15th; recommending institutions and host institutions must complete review before November 25th.
CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. Decisions will be made based on HSK and HSKK scores and levels, and in consideration of country distribution as well as other factors. The results will be published about three months before school starts.
四、关于在职中文教师和汉语桥获奖者
1.在职中文教师
在职中文教师申请各类奖学金，可提供就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信，免提交汉语水平考试（HSK）证书。
2.汉语桥获奖者
在各类汉语桥比赛中获得 “国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向三峡大学提交申请材料。

Ⅳ、Policies Regarding Currently Employed Chinese Language Teachers and Chinese Bridge Award Recipients
a) In-Service Chinese Language Teachers
In-service Chinese language teachers may be exempted from HSK/HSKK certificates if they provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.
b) Chinese Bridge Winners
Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to the Host Institutions directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

五、其他
1．相关专业培养方案与教学课程，可与三峡大学留学生招生办公室联系。
2．申请者须按照相关规定提交申请材料。
3．学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。
4. 相关入学等事宜，请与三峡大学留学生招生办公室保持联系。
5．入学体检不合格、中途退学、及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。
Ⅴ、OTHERS
a) Please contact the admission office of CTGU for curriculum and course listings.
b) Applicants shall submit necessary documents according to specific requirements.
c) Degree students are subject to the annual assessment according to the Annual Appraisal Procedures of International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.
d) Please contact the admission office of CTGU for enrollment and other matters.
e) Students who fail to pass the pre-enrollment medical examination, withdraw from school before completing the program, fail to register at the university without prior permission, or suspend their studies will be disqualified for the scholarship.
