一、项目简介Program Introduction

该项目由国家留学基金管理委员会设立，旨在充分发挥中国政府奖学金促进高校“双一流”建设的作用。项目采取“个人申请、院校推荐、专家评审、择优录取”的原则，选拔具有优秀学科背景、专业能力及未来发展潜力的国际学生。三峡大学具备该奖学金项目招生资格，可推荐符合要求的人选，最终录取结果以专家评审结果为准。

Established by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), the program aims to give full play to the role of Chinese government scholarships in promoting the construction of "double first-class" universities. The program adopts the principle of "individual application, university recommendation, expert evaluation and selective admission" to select international students with excellent academic background, professional ability and future development potential. China Three Gorges University (CTGU) has the qualification to enroll students for the scholarship program, and can recommend candidates who meet the requirements. The final admission results are subject to the expert review results.

二、资助类别、期限及专业范围 Supporting Categories, Duration &Instruction Language

（一）资助类别及学制Supporting Categories

该项目仅资助硕士研究生、博士研究生。

This scholarship only supports graduate students

（二）资助期限Duration

包括中文补习（预科）和专业学习时间。中文补习（预科）资助期限一般为一年，专业学习资助期限原则上与基本修业年限一致。

This Scholarship covers both major study and Chinese language (preparatory) study. The language courses last one year, whereas the duration of the scholarship for major study conforms to that as required

三、资助内容和标准 Scholarship Coverage & Criteria

（一）资助内容Scholarship Coverage

包括学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。

The scholarship covers tuition fee, dormitory fee, stipend and comprehensive medical insurance fee.

（二）资助标准Criteria

1.免学费；

2.提供免费宿舍或发放住宿补贴（适用于申请校外住宿获批的学生）；

3.生活费：

硕士研究生：3,000元人民币/月

博士研究生：3,500元人民币/月

4.综合医疗保险费：800元人民币/人/年

1. Free Tuition fees;

2. Free university dormitory or accommodation subsidy if the students were approved to live outside campus;

3. Stipend:

Master’s students: CNY 3,000 per month;

Doctoral students: CNY 3,500 per month.

4. Comprehensive medical insurance: CNY 800 per person per year;

四、申请条件Eligibility

1. 非中国籍公民，对华友好，身心健康,。

2.申请攻读硕士学位者，应当具有学士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般为18-35周岁；

3.申请攻读博士学位者，应当具有硕士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄一般为18-40周岁；

4.申请中文授课项目要求达到《汉语水平考试》四级（HSK4），毕业时中文能力应达到《国际汉语能力标准》五级水平（曾使用中文为教学语言获得中国高校学位的，无须提供《汉语水平考试》（HSK）证明）；

5.申请英文授课项目的非英语国家申请者要求提供雅思成绩5.0分及以上或等同于此水平的相关证明，申请人来自英语国家或接受过3年及以上英文教学课程可免提供英语水平证明。英语国家可参考链接：http://eng.ctgu.edu.cn/info/1032/1465.htm

毕业时中文能力应当至少达到《国际汉语能力标准》三级水平；

To be eligible, an applicant must:

1. be a citizen of a country other than the PRC, friendly to China and in good health both mentally and physically;

2. be an academically excellent holder of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent between the age of 18 and 35 when applying for a Master’s program;

3. be an academically excellent holder of a Master’s degree or its equivalent between the age of 18 and 40 when applying for a doctoral program;

4. Have passed HSK (Level 4) when applying for a Chinese-taught program and their Chinese proficiency should be at the level of the International Chinese Language Proficiency Standard (Level 5) upon graduation (those who have obtained a degree from a Chinese university using Chinese as the teaching language are not required to provide HSK certificates;

5. IELTS with 5.0 or above or other equivalent language proficiency certificate should be provided when applying for an English-taught program. Applicants who are from English speaking countries or received education more than 3 years in English can exempt from providing the relevant English language proficiency certificates.

Their Chinese proficiency should be at the level of the International Chinese Language Proficiency Standard (Level 3) upon graduation

6. Applicants who have studied in China before should provide the Certificate for the Experience of Studying in China from previous school or university. Sample of the Certificate can be downloaded from http://eng.ctgu.edu.cn/DOWNLOADS.htm

五、申请与录取流程 Application & Admission Process

1.申请人首先在三峡大学国际学生管理服务平台http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn提交申请；.

2. 招生办公室对申请者材料予以初审。初审合格的学生材料发送至相关学院复审。招生办公室向复审合格的申请人发送预录取通知书；

3. 申请人在中国政府奖学金来华留学管理信息系统http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn提交申请并上传预录取通知书（选择奖学金类别B，机构代码为11075）；

4. 三月底前三峡大学向国家留学基金管理委员会提交推荐人选名单及申请材料；

5. 国家留学基金管理委员会组织有关院校和专家对推荐人选进行资格和学术审核，确定录取人选；

6.国家留学基金管理委员会通知三峡大学录取结果，由三峡大学通知申请人并发放《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW201表）。

1. The applicants shall fill in and submit application at CTGU Online Application System for International Students at this linkhttp://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn ；

2. The admissions office shall make a preliminary examination of the applicant's materials. Those documents of the applicants who have passed the preliminary examination shall be sent to relevant colleges for academic review. Admission office will send a pre-admission notice to those students who have passed the college academic review;

3. The applicants shall fill in and submit application at CSC Online Application System for International Students at this linkhttp://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn and upload the pre-admission letter. The Agency number of CTGU University is 11075. The Scholarship category is Type B;

4. CTGU shall submit the recommended candidates list and their application documents to CSC by the end of March;

5. The CSC will organize designated universities and experts concerned to examine applicants’ eligibility and academic performance before finalizing the short-list candidates;

6. The CSC will notify the admission results to CTGU that will subsequently have the applicant informed. Then CTGU will send the Admission Notice and Visa Application for Study in China (JW201).

六、申请材料 Application Documents

1.《三峡大学外国留学生入学申请表》《中国政府奖学金申请表》（在线填写）；

2.护照首页。申请人须提交有效期晚于2023年3月1日本人普通护照的首页清晰扫描件，如现持有护照有效期不符合要求，请及时换发新护照。对于因客观原因无法在提交申请前办理护照的申请人，经受理机构允许后，可提交包含本人“英文姓名、性别、国籍、出生日期”等信息的有效证件或证明文件；

3.经公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明；

4.学习成绩单。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文；

5.语言能力证明。申请以中文为专业教学语言的申请人须提供有效期内且与相应中文水平要求相符的HSK成绩报告。申请以外语为专业教学语言的申请人应根据学校要求提供相应的语言能力证明，如雅思或托福成绩单；

6.预录取通知书（此项材料将作为中国政府奖学金优先录取的文件之一, 需上传至CSC系统）

7.来华学习或研究计划。不少于1000字，用中文或英文书写；

8.推荐信。须提交两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；

9.个人学术成果（毕业论文、公开发表的论文、参与的重大科研项目等列表）。

10. 个人获奖证明。（如有）；

11.《外国人体格检查表》复印件（原件自行保存，此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效。检查结果有效期为6个月；

12.无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件。

1. CTGU Application Form for International Students /Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in online);

2. A scanned copy of the Passport Information Page. An applicant shall submit a clear scanned copy of the information page of his/her passport that will not expire on or before March 1, 2023. Renew the passport if the requirement is not met. An applicant who fails to apply for a passport due to objective reasons may submit valid documentation or documentary evidence that carries information about the full English name, sex, nationality and date of birth of the applicant upon the approval of the application receiving agency;

3. Diploma and certificate of highest education (both original &notarized photocopy). An applicant who is a current university student shall submit the certificate of expected graduation or student status issued by his/her university;

4. Academic transcripts. Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English shall be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;

5. Certificate of language proficiency. When applying for a Chinese-taught program, an applicant shall provide a valid HSK score report that meets the program’s language ability requirements. When applying for a program taught in a language other than Chinese, an applicant shall provide a certificate of proficiency in the language as required by the designated university, such as the IELTS or TOEFL test report;

6. Pre-Admission Notice. (The pre-admission Notice should be uploaded in the CSC Online Application System for International Students system will serve as a priority of admission in granting the Chinese Government Scholarship);

7. A study or research plan written in Chinese or in English (no less than 1000 words/characters for postgraduates);

8. Recommendation letters. Two recommendation letters in Chinese or in English from professors or associate professors;

9. Personal academic achievements (list of graduation thesis, published papers, major research projects participated, etc.);

10. Awarded certificates if there is/are;

11. A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form (the original document, printed by Chinese quarantine authorities, shall be filled in in English and kept by the applicant). The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are invalid. Medical examination results are valid for only six months;

12. An applicant shall submit a valid Certificate of Non-Criminal Record (or Police Clearance Certificate) issued by the local public security (such as the police station), usually issued within six months prior to the submission date of the application.

八．注意事项Points for Attention

中国政府奖学金生不得同时享受中国各级政府和三峡大学设立的其他奖学金（不含各类一次性奖励金）的资助，一经发现，其中国政府奖学金资格将予以取消，并须退还已领取的中国政府奖学金。对于刻意隐瞒资助情况的，除取消资格外，三年内不允许申请中国政府奖学金；

Chinese Government Scholarship students are not allowed to enjoy other scholarships (excluding lump-sum rewards) established by the Chinese government at all levels and CTGU at the same time. Once found out, their Chinese government scholarship eligibility will be cancelled and the Chinese government scholarship already received will be returned. Those who deliberately conceal their financial support will not be allowed to apply for Chinese government scholarships within three years, in addition to being disqualified.

九．其他 Others

1. 该简章以中英文书就，如中英文版本之间存在任何差异，以中文版本为准。

This application guide is made in both Chinese and English. If there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
