“Perception of Chinese New Year” Photography Competition for CTGU International Students

一、活动主题Activity Theme

新年之际，家庭团圆之时，留学生们却因新冠疫情阻挡了回家的脚步。为了让留学生们体会宜昌风土人情、缓解思乡之情，学校策划开展“年味”主题摄影大赛。让留学生通过此次比赛感受“中国新年”的美好而独特的年味场景，同时体会宜昌浓厚的人文底蕴。

At the time of the Chinese New Year, when families are reunited, international students are prevented from returning home because of the covid-19 epidemic. In order to help the international students experience the local customs of Yichang and relieve their feeling of homesickness, the university holds the“Perception of Chinese New Year”Photography Competition. Through this competition, international students can experience the beautiful and unique Chinese New Year celebration and the rich cultural heritage of Yichang.

二、活动目的Activity Purpose

促进留学生综合素质的全面提高，激发留学生对于美好事物的向往和提高留学生的摄影能力以及审美能力，陶冶艺术情操，增强创作思维。

It is to promote the overall improvement of international students' comprehensive quality, stimulate their yearning for beautiful things, improve their photographic ability and aesthetic ability, and cultivate their artistic sentiment and enhance their creative thinking.

以摄影的方式让宜昌新年之美为越来越多的留学生所感知。

Let more and more international students perceive the beauty of Yichang in the new year holiday through photography.

通过本次比赛提供的平台，希望留学生能在活动中感受到中国春节的节日气氛，对中国传统节日有更深的了解。

Through the platform provided by this competition, we hope international students can feel the festive atmosphere of Chinese Spring Festival and have a deeper understanding of Chinese traditional festivals.

六、活动内容Activity Schedule

1、初赛：由三峡大学经济与管理学院学生会宣传部对投稿照片进行初步筛选。作品发送至：

Preliminary Competition: The Publicity Department of the Student Union of College of Economics and Management of China Three Gorges University will conduct preliminary screening of the submitted photos. Please send your works to: Qin Qiuting, Email 1657772730@qq.com

2、决赛：入选照片送至比赛组委会进行进一步筛选，评选出一、二、三等奖及优秀奖。

Final: The selected photos will be sent to the organizing committee for further screening, and the first, second and third prizes and outstanding prizes works will be selected.

七、作品要求Requirements for works

1、比赛作品须以“年味”为主题，拍摄于2021年寒假期间，单幅或组图，彩色或黑白均可。

The theme of the competition is “Perception of Chinese New Year”. Each photo must be taken during the winter holiday of 2021. Both single or group photos, color or black and white ones are acceptable.

2、摄影作品须为原创作品，电脑合成作品视为无效。

The works should be original, any computer-generated works shall be deemed invalid.

3、每张照片的大小不得低于2M。

Each photo must be no less than 2M in size.

4、每张照片须以学号+护照姓名命名。

Each photo should be named with student ID + passport name.

一等奖（2名）：电动牙刷一个＋证书

First prize（2 students）：One electric toothbrush + Certificate

二等奖（4名）：蓝牙耳机一副＋证书

Second prize（4 students）：One pair of bluetooth headsets + Certificate

三等奖（6名）：无线充电器一个＋证书

Third prize（6 students）：One wireless charger + Certificate

优秀奖（10名）：洗发水一瓶＋证书

Outstanding Award（10 students）：One bottle of shampoo + Certificate

在创作期间，务必做好疫情防护措施，注意人身安全。
