Overview

China Three Gorges University (CTGU), one of the United Nations Academy Impact (UNAI) members, administers a wide range of students’ exchange programs with its partner universities around the world on a semester or academic-year basis. For exchange students from most universities, the credits earned at CTGU can be transferred into those of the student’s home university.

Expenses

The fee structure is as below:

1. Tuition is usually free according to the bilateral students’ exchange agreement

2. Insurance: 600 RMB/year

3. Registration fee: 400 RMB

4. Accommodation: 400 RMB/month

5. Estimated living costs: 1500 RMB/month.

How to apply?

Register and submit your online application at China Three Gorges University Online Application System for International Students at http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn, submit online the completed “Application Form for International students of China Three Gorges University” and required application documents listed below:

Documents for application:

1. Notarized highest diploma or degree certificate issued directly by university with official stamp and signature;

2. Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.

3. Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English);

4. A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English);

5. A Recommendation Letter from home university（The recommendation letter should specify the applicant’s Language Proficiency Level with HSK 4 or IELTS 5.0 or equivalent level or above）;

6. Scanned copy of valid ordinary passport (personal information page).

Application Deadline

January 1^st for Spring Semester (from February or March to June)

July1^stfor Fall Semester (from September to January)
