Program introduction:
China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of China, is responsible for the enrollment and administration of Chinese Government Scholarship Programs. China Three Gorges University (CTGU), being one of the United Nations Academy Impact (UNAI) members, is one of the authorized universities to accept the CSC scholarships students. The CSC Full-Scholarship for Students in Exchange Programs is established to sponsor the American or European students recommended by CTGU partner universities to be exchanged to and study in CTGU.
1.1 Conditional air ticket refund: For 3-6 months study: refund of one way international air-ticket at economy class (no more than 6,000 RMB, which is about 1,000 USD or 800 EUR); For 10-12 months study: refund of international air-ticket at economy class (no more than 12,000 RMB, which is about 2,000 USD or 1600 EUR);
Please note: Air Ticket Reimbursement will be paid in equal monthly installments based on the student’s actual airline ticket invoice.
1.2 Tuition fee.
1.3 Accommodation fee. (Personal expenses such as water, electricity, internet, TV signal, and damage compensation are excluded)
1.4 Insurance.
1.5 Registration fee.
Scholarship Exclusion
Living expenses: you are expected to pay for your own living expenses, which is around1500 RMB /month/ person.
How to apply?
1. Register and submit your online application at the CSC Online Application System for International Students at http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login. The code of China Three Gorges University is 11075. Please Choose Program category type B which refers to scholarship programs responsible by Chinese universities under Chinese Government Scholarship.
2. Register and submit your online application at China Three Gorges University Online Application System for International Students at http://lsx.ctgu.edu.cn, submit online the completed “Application Form for International students of China Three Gorges University” and required application documents listed below:
Documents for application:
1. Notarized highest diploma or degree certificate issued directly by university with official stamp and signature;
2. Prospective diploma recipients must submit official document issued by your current school to prove your current student status or expected graduation date. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations.
3. Academic transcripts (written in Chinese or English);
4. A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English);
5. A Recommendation Letter from home university;
6. Scanned copy of valid ordinary passport (personal information page).
Application Deadline
December 15th for Spring Semester (from February or March to June):
July 7th for Fall Semester (from September to January)
